I’m Megan, the artist behind Clarke, Paper, and Knife. I love all things crafty and can’t stop picking up new hobbies. I love teaching myself new techniques and in 2010 I watched a video about the Japanese art of paper cutting (kirigami)… and well the rest is history! I fell in love with the simplicity of a single sheet of paper and how complex a few cuts can make it. I am inspired by nature as well as people, and there is no limit to the subjects in my pieces.

If I’m not in my art studio buried in paper bits I and working one of my other jobs, teaching ESL or running the office at my sister’s dance studio. When my other half convinces me to take a break we love to hop in the canoe and head to a remote lake or just chill out with a few beers.
